Vusal Guliyev: There is a need to coordinate Public Councils
In an interview with local television channels, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev gave recommendations on the development of public control mechanisms. The recommendations of the head of state set new tasks for us.
The statement came from Vusal Guliyev, Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Agency for State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, at an event on "The role of NGOs in combating corruption and strengthening public control" on January 15 at ADA University.
Vusal Guliyev noted the important role of NGOs in the fight against corruption and public control, and stressed the importance of measures taken by them in partnership with government agencies.
