To the attention of civil society institutions

The registration period of candidates for the public council to be established to ensure the participation of citizens and civil society institutions in the organization of public control over the activities of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and to take into account public opinion was made. Elections to the Public Council will be held on June 12, 2021 from 11:00 to 16:00 in the administrative building of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies (address: Baku, 77 Zarifa Aliyeva Street).
 

Necessary information about their representatives (including 1 person) from civil society institutions wishing to get the right to vote in the elections by June 1, 2021: name, surname, patronymic, date of birth, place of residence and means of communication, as well as copies of ID and membership cards Please submit to the Election Commission by sending an e-mail to mincom.gov.az.
The members of the Public Council will be elected from among the nominated candidates by secret ballot. Persons who have received more than half of the votes cast shall be considered elected to the public council.
 

It should be noted that 15 candidates have been registered for membership in the public council under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies. The Election Commission set the number of members of the public council at 10.
Information on civil society institutions elected to the public council under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies will be posted on the ministry's official website (www.mincom.gov.az).
